Privacy
Atmos Gallery extracts colours from your images on your device and saves your palettes in your browser. A smaller copy of your image is sent to Anthropic to generate a palette name and description. No account is required.
Colours are extracted on your device
Atmos extracts the palette on your device. It first calculates the five colours and their proportions.
Once the palette is ready, a smaller copy of the image is automatically sent to Anthropic with the HEX values and colour proportions to generate a name and description. The original image is not uploaded.
If naming is unsuccessful, Atmos uses a locally generated name instead. A failed request does not necessarily mean that no data was sent.
Your palettes stay in your browser
Your library lives in this browser’s local storage, under first-party keys. There is no server holding it and no account attached to it. Clearing your browser data deletes it, so if a palette matters to you, use Back up to keep a copy on your own disk.
How shared links work
The palette is stored in the shared link itself, after the # symbol. Your browser uses it to display the palette. This part of the link is not included in the page request and is removed from the address sent to our analytics.
Website hosting and analytics
Atmos Gallery has no accounts or advertising.
Vercel hosts the website and processes technical information such as your IP address and browser details. If you allow it, we also use Vercel Web Analytics to measure visits and Speed Insights to understand loading speed and website performance. Neither uses cookies.
We use this information to operate and improve the website. Hosting relies on legitimate interests as our legal basis, and analytics on your consent, which you can change at any time in Privacy settings.
Analytics
With your permission, we use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to understand how often Atmos Gallery is visited and how the site performs.
These tools may collect information about the page visited, browser and device type, approximate location, visit time and loading performance. They do not set cookies or track you across other websites.
Analytics are disabled until you choose “Accept”. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through “Privacy settings”.
How your data is used
Atmos Gallery does not require an account. Your palettes are saved in your browser, not on our servers.
When you choose an image, a smaller copy is sent to Anthropic with the palette’s colour values and proportions to generate a name and description.

Your rights
Your rights under data protection law also apply to personal data processed by our service providers on our behalf.
You can complain to a data protection authority, including Datatilsynet, the Danish Data Protection Agency.
